AI-driven Cloud Classification Atlas
These are 42 unique unsupervised AI-generated cloud classes that show distinct cloud texture and physica properties among different classes but homogeneous texture and properties within a same class. Following figures show 20 examples of True Color MODIS patch images for each cloud class. Note that our machine learning model is trained on near-infrared to thermal range of radiances. The true color images helps to understand how AICCA discriminates between textures among different classes.
